About Laura

Laura Hensley is an emerging theatre director and a graduate of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's MA Drama Directing. Storytelling and human connection are at the heart of the work she makes. Currently focusing on new writing, and creating work for family audiences, she is interested in exploring how small and quiet work can be explosive and dynamic, in subverting expectations and creating safe spaces where actors can be vulnerable and playful.
